Doa Jaushan Al-Saghir 

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ	In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
إِلٰهِي كَم مِنْ عَدُوٍّ	O my God, many an enemy
ٱنتَضَىٰ عَلَيَّ سَيْفَ عَدَاوَتِهِ	unsheathed the sword of his hostility against me,
وَشَحَذَ لِي ظُبَّةَ مُدْيَتِهِ	honed his dagger's edge against me,
وَارْهَفَ لِي شَبَا حَدِّهُ	sharpened the heads of his weapons against me,
وَدَافَ لِي قَوَاتِلَ سُمُومِهِ	mixed for me his deadly poisons,
وَسَدَّدَ إِلَيَّ صَوَائِبَ سِهَامِهِ	leveled at me his hitting arrow,
وَلَمْ تَنَمْ عَنِّي عَيْنُ حِرَاسَتِهِ	kept a sleepless eye on me,
وَاضْمَرَ انْ يَسُومَنِي ٱلْمَكْرُوهَ	and decided secretly to target harm to me
وَيُجَرِّعَنِي ذُعَافَ مَرَارَتِهِ	and to make me taste the deadly poison of his bitterness.
نَظَرْتَ إِلَىٰ ضَعْفِي عَنِ ٱحْتِمَاِل ٱلْفَوَاِدحِ	[Amid all that] You considered that I am too weak to bear hardships,
وَعَجْزِي عَنِ ٱلإِنتِصَارِ مِمَّن قَصَدَنِي بِمُحَارَبَتِهِ	I am too short to have aid against him who aimed at attacking me,
وَوَحْدَتِي فِي كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ نَاوَانِي وَارْصَدَ لِي	and You perceived my loneliness to confront many of those who incurred my hostility and laid in wait for me,
فِيمَا لَمْ اعْمِلْ فِكْرِي فِي ٱلإِرْصَادِ لَهُم بِمِثْلِهِ	while I have not been ready to give any thought to sitting in ambush and retaliating.
فَايَّدْتَنِي بِقُوَّتِكَ	So, You came to stand by me with Your might,
وَشَدَدْتَ ازْرِي بِنُصْرَتِكَ	made me strong through Your support,
وَفَلَلْتَ لِي حَدَّهُ	notched his sharpness against me,
وَخَذَلْتَهُ بَعْدَ جَمْعِ عَدِيدِهِ وَحَشْدِهِ	disappointed him although he concentrated all his troops and crowds,
وَاعْلَيْتَ كَعْبِي عَلَيْهِ	You gave me the upper hand over him,
وَوَجَّهْتَ مَا سَدَّدَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ مَكَائِدِهِ إِلَيْهِ	directed toward him the same traps that he had laid for me,
وَرَدَدْتَهُ عَلَيْهِ	and caused him to be engaged with his own traps.
وَلَمْ يَشْفِ غَلِيلَهُ	Thus, he could not quench his thirst,
وَلَمْ تَبْرُدْ حَزَازَاتُ غَيْظِهِ	did not assuage the fury of his anger,
وَقَدْ عَضَّ عَلَيَّ انَامِلَهُ	bit his thumb [out of his malice toward me],
وَادْبَرَ مُوَلِّياً قَدْ اخْفَقَتْ سَرَايَاهُ	and turned his back fleeing after his pennons had failed.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَكَمْ مِنْ بَاغٍ	O my God, many a tyrannical oppressor
بَغَانِي بِمَكَائِدِهِ	made me the target of his oppressive trickeries,
وَنَصَبَ لِي اشْرَاكَ مَصَائِدِهِ	set the traps of his hunting for me,
وَوَكَّلَ بِي تَفَقُّدَ رِعَايَتِهِ	continuously spied on me,
وَاضْبَا إِلَيَّ إِضْبَاءَ ٱلسَّبْعِ لِطَرِيدَتِهِ	and waylaid me like a beast waylaying its prey
إنتِظَاراً لاِنْتِهَازِ فُرْصَتِهِ	in waiting for seizing the best opportunity [to catch me],
وَهُوَ يُظْهِرُ بَشَاشَةَ ٱلْمَلَقِ	While he was showing me happy mien flatteringly
وَيَبْسُطُ وَجْهاً غَيْرَ طَلِقٍ	and displaying an uncheerful face.
فَلَمَّا رَايْتَ دَغَلَ سَرِيرَتِهِ	So, when You saw ill intention of his inner self
وَقُبْحَ مَا ٱنطَوَىٰ عَلَيْهِ لِشَرِيكِهِ فِي مِلَّتِهِ	and the ugliness of his determination against his partner in religion,
وَاصْبَحَ مُجْلِباً لِي فِي بَغْيِهِ	and he became resolute in tyranny against me,
ارْكَسْتَهُ لاِمِّ رَاسِهِ	You threw him down headlong
وَاتَيْتَ بُنيَانَهُ مِنْ اسَاسِهِ	and demolished his structure from its foundation.
فَصَرَعْتَهُ فِي زُبْيَتِهِ	So, You knocked him down while he was in loftiness,
وَرَدَّيْتَهُ فِي مَهْوَىٰ حُفْرَتِهِ	made him fall in the bottomless depth of his hole,
وَجَعَلْتَ خَدَّهُ طَبَقاً لِتُرَابِ رِجْلِهِ	caused his face to be a cover of his foot’s dust,
وَشَغَلْتَهُ فِي بَدَنِهِ وَرِزْقِهِ	caused him to be engaged with his body and his earnings,
وَرَمَيْتَهُ بِحَجَرِهِ	hurled him with his own stone,
وَخَنَقْتَهُ بِوَتَرِهِ	suffocated him with his own rope,
وَذَكَّيْتَهُ بِمَشَاقِصِهِ	slaughtered him with his own arrowhead,
وَكَبَبْتَهُ لِمِنْخَرِهِ	overturned him to his nose,
وَرَدَدْتَ كَيْدَهُ فِي نَحْرِهِ	turned his plot to his own neck,
وَرَبَقْتَهُ بِنَدَامَتِهِ	lassoed him with his remorse,
وَفَسَاتَهُ بِحَسْرَتِهِ	and stretched him with is regret.
فَٱسْتَخْذَا وَتَضَاءَلَ بَعْدَ نَخْوَتِهِ	So, he became lowly and dwindled after his arrogance,
وَٱنقَمَعَ بَعْدَ ٱسْتِطَالَتِهِ	was crushed after his haughtiness;
ذَلِيلاً مَاسُوراً فِي رِبْقِ حِبَالَتِهِ	humble and captured in the lasso of his trap
ٱلَّتِي كَانَ يُؤَمِّلُ انْ يَرَانِي فِيهَا يَوْمَ سَطْوَتِهِ	in which he expected to see me in the days of his influence.
وَقَدْ كِدْتُ يَا رَبِّ لَوْلاَ رَحْمَتُكَ	In fact, O my Lord, I was—had it not been for Your mercy—
انْ يَحِلَّ بِي مَا حَلَّ بِسَاحَتِهِ	about to encounter the same as he had encountered.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَكَمْ مِنْ حَاسِدٍ شَرِقَ بِحَسْرَتِهِ	O my God, many an envier choked with his regret
وَعَدُوٍّ شَجِيَ بِغَيْظِهِ	and an enemy became grieved out of his fury,
وَسَلَقَنِي بِحَدِّ لِسَانِهِ	smit me with his sharp tongue,
وَوَخَزَنِي بِمُوقِ عَيْنِهِ	pricked me with the inner corner of his eye,
وَجَعَلَنِي غَرَضاً لِمَرَامِيهِ	made me the object of his intentions,
وَقَلَّدَنِي خِلاَلاً لَمْ تَزَلْ فِيهِ	and gird me with dispositions that are still his.
نَاديْتُكَ يَا رَبِّ مُسْتَجِيراً بِكَ	Therefore, I called upon You, O my Lord, seeking Your shelter,
وَاثِقاً بِسُرْعَةِ إِجَابَتِكَ	having full confidence in the immediateness of Your response,
مُتَوَكِّلاً عَلَىٰ مَا لَمْ ازَلْ اتَعَرَّفُهُ	trusting in that which I am still receiving from You;
مِن حُسْنِ دِفَاعِكَ	namely, the excellence of Your defense of me,
عَالِماً انَّهُ لاَ يُضْطَهَدُ مَنْ اوَىٰ إِلَىٰ ظِلِّ كَنَفِكَ	having full knowledge that whoever harbors under the shade of Your protection will never be persecuted,
وَلَن تَقْرَعَ ٱلْحَوَادِثُ مَنْ لَجَا إِلَىٰ مَعْقِلِ ٱلاِنْتِصَارِ بِكَ	and whoever takes refuge in the fortress of the seeking of Your support will never be exposed to the strikes of misfortunes.
فَحَصَّنْتَنِي مِنْ بَاسِهِ بِقُدْرَتِكَ	So, You safeguarded me from his prowess with Your omnipotence.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَكَمْ مِنْ سَحَائِبِ مَكْرُوهٍ جَلَّيْتَهَا	O my God, many clouds of misfortune You have dispersed,
وَسَمَاءِ نِعْمَةٍ مَطَرْتَهَا	much rain of bliss You have poured,
وَجَدَاوِلِ كَرَامَةٍ اجْرَيْتَهَا	many streams of conferral You have made flow,
وَاعْيُنِ احْدَاثٍ طَمَسْتَهَا	many springs of troubles You have effaced,
وَنَاشِئَةِ رَحْمَةٍ نشَرْتَهَا	many launches of mercy You have spread,
وَجُنَّةِ عَافِيَةٍ الْبَسْتَهَا	many armors of wellbeing You have adorned [us with],
وَغَوَامِرِ كُرُبَاتٍ كَشَفْتَهَا	many overwhelming calamities You have removed,
وَامُورٍ جَارِيَةٍ قَدَّرْتَهَا	and many continual events of goodness You have decided.
لَمْ تُعْجِزْكَ إِذْ طَلَبْتَهَا	They would never render You impotent when You determined them to happen,
وَلَمْ تَمْتَنِعْ مِنْكَ إِذْ ارَدْتَهَا	and could never stop responding to You when You wanted them to be.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَكَمْ مِنْ ظَنٍّ حَسَنٍ حَقَّقْتَ	O my God, many an excellent hope You have achieved,
وَمِن كَسْرِ إِمْلاَقٍ جَبَرْتَ	many breaking poverty You have set,
وَمِن مَسْكَنَةٍ فَادِحَةٍ حَوَّلْتَ	many gross neediness You have shunted,
وَمِن صَرْعَةٍ مُهْلِكَةٍ نعَشْتَ	many destructive blows You have revived (me from them),
وَمِن مَشَقَّةٍ ارَحْتَ	and many hardships You have relieved (me of them).
لاَ تُسْالُ عَمَّا تَفْعَلُ	You cannot be questioned concerning that which You do
وَهُمْ يُسْالُونَ	and they shall be questioned.
وَلاَ يَنقُصُكَ مَا انفَقْتَ	That which You spend never decreases You.
وَلَقَدْ سُئِلْتَ فَاعْطَيْتَ	When You have been besought, You gave;
وَلَمْ تُسْالْ فَٱبْتَدَاتَ	and although You have not been besought, You took the initiative to give.
وَٱسْتُمِيحَ بَابُ فَضْلِكَ فَمَا اكْديْتَ	When the door of Your favoring was knocked, You have not withheld.
ابَيْتَ إِلاَّ إِنْعَاماً وَامْتِنَاناً	You have insisted on nothing but favoring and bestowal
وَابَيْتَ إِلاَّ تَطَوُّلاً يَا رَبِّ وَإِحْسَاناً	and You, O my Lord, have also insisted on giving generously and beneficently.
وَابَيْتُ إِلاَّ ٱنتِهَاكاً لِحُرُمَاتِكَ	But as for me, I insisted on nothing but violation of Your prohibitions,
وَٱجْتِرَاءاً عَلَىٰ مَعَاصِيكَ	daring to commit acts of disobedience to You,
وَتَعَدِّياً لِحُدُودِكَ	transgressing Your limits,
وَغَفْلَةً عَنْ وَعِيدِكَ	passing over Your threats,
وَطَاعَةً لِعَدُوِّي وَعَدُوِّكَ	and obeying Your and my enemy.
لَمْ يَمْنَعْكَ يَا إِلٰهِي وَنَاصِرِي إِخْلاَلِي بِٱلشُّكْرِ	My failure to be thankful to You has not made You, O my God and Helper,
عَنْ إِتْمَامِ إِحْسَانِكَ	stop perfecting Your favors on me.
وَلاَ حَجَزَنِي ذٰلِكَ  عَنِ ٱرْتِكَابِ مَسَاخِطِكَ	Likewise, this has not prevented me from committing sins that You dislike.
اَللَّهُمَّ وَهٰذَا مَقَامُ عَبْدٍ ذَلِيلٍ	O my God, this is the situation of a humble servant [of You],
ٱعْتَرَفَ لَكَ بِٱلتَّوْحِيدِ	who professes Your Oneness,
وَاقَرَّ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ بِٱلتَّقْصِيرِ فِي ادَاءِ حَقِّكَ	confesses of his failure to carry out his duty towards You,
وَشَهِدَ لَكَ بِسُبُوغِ نِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيْهِ	and testifies to Your ample favoring on him,
وَجَمِيلِ عَادَتِكَ عِندَهُ	Your excellent habits in treating him,
وَإِحْسَانِكَ إِلَيْهِ	and Your bestowal of graces upon him.
فَهَبْ لِي يَا إِلٰهِي وَسَيِّدِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ	So, my God and Master, confer upon me an amount of Your benevolence
مَا ارِيدُهُ سَبَباً إِلَىٰ رَحْمَتِكَ	that I can use as a path taking me to Your mercy,
وَاتَّخِذُهُ سُلَّماً اعْرُجُ فِيهِ إِلَىٰ مَرْضَاتِكَ	as a ladder by which I ascend to Your satisfaction,
وَآمَنُ بِهِ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ	and I can be secured from Your wrath
بِعِزَّتِكَ وَطَوْلِكَ	in the name of Your might and supremacy
وَبِحَقِّ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ	and in the name of Your Prophet, Muhammad,
صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ	may Your blessings be upon him and his Household.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ	My God, many a servant [of You]
امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ فِي كَرْبِ ٱلْمَوْتِ	is in eves and morns suffering the agony of death,
وَحَشْرَجَةِ ٱلصَّدْرِ	and the rattles of death,
وَٱلنَّظَرِ إِلىٰ مَا تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ ٱلْجُلُودُ	experiencing that which shudders the skins
وَتَفْزَعُ لَهُ ٱلْقُلُوبُ	and horrifies the hearts;
وَانَا فِي عَافِيَةٍ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهِ	but I am safe from all that.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ	My God, many a servant [of You]
امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ سَقِيماً مُوجَعاً	is in eves and morns ailing and feeling pain
فِي انَّةٍ وَعَوِيلٍ	with moans and wails,
يَتَقَلَّبُ فِي غَمِّهِ	and is rolling over and over with anguish;
لاَ يَجِدُ مَحِيصاً	neither finding any way of escaping it
وَلاَ يُسِيغُ طَعَاماً وَلاَ شَرَاباً	nor is he finding the taste of any food or drink;
وَانَا فِي صِحَّةٍ مِنَ ٱلْبَدَنِ	while I am enjoying body health
وَسَلاَمَةٍ مِنَ ٱلْعَيْشِ	and safe living.
كُلُّ ذٰلِكَ  مِنْكَ	All that [wellbeing] is from You.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ	O my God, many a servant [of You]
امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ خَائِفاً مَرْعُوباً	is in eves and morns fearful, frightened,
مُشْفِقاً وَجِلاً	terrified, scared,
هَارِباً طَرِيداً	fugitive, runaway,
مُنجَحِراً فِي مَضِيقٍ	hiding in a tight burrow
وَمَخْبَاةٍ مِنَ المَخَابِئِ	or in an ordinary den;
قَدْ ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِ ٱلارْضُ بِرُحْبِهَا	while the entire spacious earth has become too narrow to secure him a place.
لاَ يَجِدُ حِيلَةً	He thus cannot devise any plan
وَلاَ مَنجىٰ وَلاَ مَاوىٰ	or find any shelter or retreat.
وَانَا فِي امْنٍ وَطُمَانِينَةٍ وَعَافِيَةٍ	While I am living in security, tranquility, and good health;
مِن ذٰلِكَ  كُلِّهِ	all of which is from You.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَسَيِّدِي	O my God and Master,
وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ	many a servant [of You]
امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ مَغْلُولاً	is in eves and morns enchained
مُكَبَّلاً فِي ٱلْحَدِيدِ	and shackled in iron shackles
بِايْدِي ٱلْعُدَاةِ لاَ يَرْحَمُونَهُ	in the hands of his enemies whom show him no mercy;
فَقِيداً مِنْ اهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ	[and he is] separated from his family members and children
مُنقَطِعاً عَنْ إِخْوَانِهِ وَبَلَدِهِ	and detached from his friends and country;
يَتَوَقَّعُ كُلَّ سَاعَةٍ بِايِّ قَتْلَةٍ يُقْتَلُ	each hour, he wonders what kind of killing he will be killed
وَبِايِّ مُثْلَةٍ يُمَثَّلُ بِهِ	and what kind of mutilation he will be mutilated.
وَانَا فِي عَافِيَةٍ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ  كُلِّهِ	But I am safe from all this.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ	My God, many a servant [of You]
امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ يُقَاسِي ٱلْحَرْبَ	is in eves and morns contending in war,
وَمُبَاشَرَةِ ٱلْقِتَاِل بِنَفْسِهِ	conducting the fighting by himself,
قَدْ غَشِيَتْهُ ٱلاعْدَاءُ مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍ	and is surrounded by enemies from all sides
بِٱلسُّيُوفِ وَٱلرِّمَاحِ وَآلَةِ ٱلْحَرْبِ	with swords, spears, and instruments of wars.
يَتَقَعْقَعُ فِي ٱلْحَدِيدِ	He is trembling inside iron [i.e. his armor],
قَدْ بَلَغَ مَجْهُودَهُ	and trying desperately to do everything possible.
لاَ يَعْرِفُ حِيلَةً	He cannot find any further means
وَلاَ يَجِدُ مَهْرَباً	and cannot find any escape.
قَدْ ادْنِفَ بِٱلْجِرَاحَاتِ	He is seriously experiencing wounds
اوْ مُتَشَحِّطاً بِدَمِهِ	or is totally covered with his blood
تَحْتَ ٱلسَّنَابِكِ وَٱلارْجُلِ	[struggling] under the toes of the hooves and under feet;
يَتَمَنَّىٰ شَرْبَةً مِنْ مَاٍء	he desires a drink of water
اوْ نَظْرَةً إِلَىٰ اهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ	or a look at his folk and children
لاَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهَا	but he cannot get it.
وَانَا فِي عَافِيَةٍ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ  كُلِّهِ	While I am safe from all that.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ	My God, many a servant [of You]
امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ ٱلْبِحَارِ	is in eves and morns living in the darkness of seas,
وَعَوَاصِفِ ٱلرِّيَاحِ	in the storms of winds,
وَٱلاهْوَاِل وَٱلامْوَاجِ	and in horrors and billows;
يَتَوَقَّعُ ٱلْغَرَقَ وَٱلْهَلاَكَ	anticipating drowning and perdition;
لاَ يَقْدِر علىٰ حِيلَةٍ	he does not have any means in his power;
اوْ مُبْتَلىٰ بِصَاعِقَةٍ	or is afflicted with a thunderbolt,
اوْ هَدْمٍ اوْ حَرْقٍ	demolition, burning,
اوْ شَرقٍ اوْ خَسْفٍ	or choking, swallowing of the earth,
اوْ مَسْخٍ اوْ قَذْفٍ	deformation, or striking.
وَانَا فِي عَافِيَةٍ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ  كُلِّهِ	While I am safe from all that.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ	My God, many a servant [of You]
امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ مُسَافِراً	is in eves and morns on journeys,
شَاخِصاً عَنْ اهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ	far away from his family members and sons,
مُتَحَيِّراً فِي ٱلْمَفَاوِزِ	bewildered in deserts,
تَائِهاً مَعَ ٱلْوُحُوشِ وَٱلْبَهَائِمِ وَٱلْهَوَامِّ	wandering with beasts, wild animals, and pests,
وَحِيداً فَرِيداً	alone and forlorn;
لاَ يَعْرِفُ حِيلَةً	he can find no way out
وَلاَ يَهْتَدِي سَبِيلاً	nor can he follow any right path;
اوْ مُتَاذِّياً بِبَرْدٍ اوْ حَرٍّ	or is suffering cold, hot weather,
اوْ جُوعٍ اوْ عُرْيٍ	hunger, nudity,
اوْ غَيْرِهِ مِنَ ٱلشَّدَائِدِ	or other sorts of tribulations
مِمَّا انَا مِنْهُ خِلْوٌ	of which I am free;
فِي عَافِيَةٍ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهِ	and I am released from all that.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَمَوْلايَ وَسَيِّدِي	My God, Master, and Lord,
وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ	many a servant [of You]
امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ فَقِيراً عَائِلاً	is in eves and morns poor, needy,
عَارِياً مُمْلِقاً	naked, deprived,
مُخْفِقاً مَهْجُوراً	abortive, abandoned,
جَائِعاً ظَمْآنَ	hungry, and thirsty;
يَنتَظِرُ مَنْ يَعُودُ عَلَيْهِ بِفَضْلٍ	expecting someone to bestow a favor upon him;
اوْ عَبْدٍ وَجِيهٍ عِندَكَ	or many a slave—who enjoys a high standing with You
هُوَ اوْجَهُ مِنِّي عِندَكَ	or who is superior in prominence than I am in Your view
وَاشَدُّ عِبَادَةً لَكَ	and more worshipping for You than I am—
مَغْلُولاً مَقْهُوراً	is chained and subdued;
قَدْ حُمِّلَ ثِقْلاً مِنْ تَعَبِ ٱلْعَنَاءِ	he has been overloaded with the exhaustion of pains,
وَشِدَّةِ ٱلْعُبُودِيَّةِ	the hardship of slavery,
وَكُلْفَةِ ٱلرِّقِّ	the encumbrance of serfdom,
وَثِقْلِ ٱلضَّرِيبَةِ	and the burden of imposition;
اوْ مُبْتَلَىٰ بِبَلاَءٍ شَدِيدٍ	or is encountering a hard tribulation
لاَ قِبَلَ لَهُ بِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَنِّكَ عَلَيْهِ	that he cannot stand except by a favor that You bestow upon him;
وَانَا ٱلْمَخْدُومُ ٱلْمُنَعَّمُ	while I am served, turning in bliss,
ٱلْمُعَافَىٰ ٱلْمُكَرَّمُ	relieved from that, honored,
فِي عَافِيَةٍ مِمَّا هُوَ فِيهِ	and released from what that one suffers.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ  كُلِّهِ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.
إِلٰهِي وَسَيِّدِي	My God and Master,
وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ	many a servant [of You] is in eves and morns
شَرِيداً طَرِيداً	homeless, fugitive,
حَيْرَانَ مُتَحَيِّراً	confused, bewildered,
جَائِعاً خَائِفاً	hungry, and afraid
فِي ٱلصَّحَارِي وَٱلْبَرَارِي	in deserts and wild lands;
قَدْ احْرَقَهُ ٱلْحَرُّ وَٱلْبَرْدُ	he is burnt by hot and cold weather
وَهُوَ فِي ضُرٍّ مِنَ ٱلعَيْشِ	while he is suffering harsh living,
وَضَنكٍ مِنَ ٱلحَيَاةِ	barely sufficient manner of living,
وَذُلٍّ مِنَ ٱلمَقَامِ	and humble position;
يَنظُرُ إِلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ حَسْرَةً	he looks at himself with grief
لاَ يَقْدِرُ لَهَا عَلَىٰ ضُرٍّ وَلاَ نَفْعٍ	because he cannot make any harm or benefit to himself;
وَانَا خِلْوٌ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ  كُلِّهِ	but I am free from all that
بِجُودِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ	on account of Your magnanimity and generosity.
فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا رَبِّ	So, all praise be to You, O Lord;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces;
وَٱرْحَمْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ	and have mercy upon me, by Your mercy;
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	O most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
إِلٰهِي وَسَيِّدِي	My God and Master,
وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ	many a servant [of You] is in eves and morns
عَلِيلاً مَرِيضاً	ailing, ill,
سَقِيماً مُدْنِفاً	sick, and seriously unwell;
عَلَىٰ فُرُشِ ٱلْعِلَّةِ وَفِي لِبَاسِهَا	[laid] on the bed of ailment and dressed with it;
يَتَقَلَّبُ يَمِيناً وَشِمَالاً	he turns right and left [unrestfully]
لاَ يَعْرِفُ شَيْئاً مِنْ لَذَّةِ ٱلطَّعَامِ	and cannot find the good taste of food
وَلاَ مِنْ لَذَّةِ ٱلشَّرَابِ	or the good taste of drink;
يَنظُرُ إِلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ حَسْرَةً	he looks at himself with grief
لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُ لَهَا ضَرّاً وَلاَ نَفْعاً	because he cannot make any harm or benefit to himself.
وَانَا خِلْوٌ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ  كُلِّهِ	While I am free from all that
بِجُودِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ	on account of Your magnanimity and generosity.
فَلاَ إلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ سُبْحانَكَ	So, there is no god save You. All glory be to You;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لَكَ مِنَ ٱلعَابِدِينَ	and include me with the worshippers of You,
وَلِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	those who are thankful for Your bounties,
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces;
وَٱرْحَمْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ	and have mercy upon me, by Your mercy;
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	O most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
مَوْلايَ وَسَيِّدِي	My Lord and Master,
وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ	many a servant [of You] is in eves and morns
وَقَدْ دَنَا يَوْمُهُ مِنْ حَتْفِهِ	receiving the day of his death;
وَاحَدْقَ بِهِ مَلَكُ ٱلْمَوْتِ فِي اعْوَانِهِ	and the Angel of Death and his assistants are gazing at him;
يُعَالِجُ سَكَرَاتِ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَحِيَاضَهُ	he is thus suffering the agonies and pains of death.
تَدُورُ عَيْنَاهُ يَمِيناً وَشِمَالاً	His eyes are turning right and left,
يَنظُرُ إِلَىٰ احِبَّائِهِ وَاوِدَّائِهِ وَاخِلاَّئِهِ	looking at his dear, beloved, and intimate friends;
قَدْ مُنِعَ مِنَ ٱلكَلاَمِ	he is restrained from ability to talk
وَحُجِبَ عَنْ ٱلْخِطَابِ	and withheld from speaking.
يَنظُرُ إِلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ حَسْرَةً	He looks at himself with grief
لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُ لَهَا ضَرّاً وَلاَ نَفْعاً	because he cannot make any harm or benefit to himself;
وَانَا خِلْوٌ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ  كُلِّهِ	but I am free from all that
بِجُودِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ	on account of Your magnanimity and generosity.
فَلاَ إلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ سُبْحانَكَ	So, there is no god save You. All glory be to You;

وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces;
وَٱرْحَمْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ	and have mercy upon me, by Your mercy.
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
إِلٰهِي وَمَوْلايَ وَسَيِّدِي	My God, Lord, and Master,
وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ	many a servant [of You] is in eves and morns
فِي مَضَائِقِ ٱلْحُبُوسِ وَٱلسُّجُونِ	in the straits of jails and prisons
وَكُرَبِهَا وَذُلهِّا وَحَدِيدِهَا	and in their agonies, humiliation, and iron;
يَتَدَاوَلُهُ اعْوَانُهَا وَزَبَانِيَتُهَا	controlled by their keepers and guards;
فَلاَ يَدْرِي ايُّ حَالٍ يُفْعَلُ بِهِ	so, he has no idea what will be done to him
وَايُّ مُثْلَةٍ يُمَثَّلُ بِهِ	and which punishment will be set upon him.
فَهُوَ فِي ضُرٍّ مِنَ ٱلعَيْشِ	He is suffering harsh living
وَضَنكٍ مِنَ ٱلحَيَاةِ	and barely sufficient manner of living.
يَنظُرُ إِلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ حَسْرَةً	He looks at himself with grief
لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُ لَهَا ضَرّاً وَلاَ نَفْعاً	because he cannot make any harm or benefit to himself;
وَانَا خِلْوٌ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهِ	but I am free from all that

وَلِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	those who are thankful for Your bounties,
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces;
وَٱرْحَمْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ	and have mercy upon me, by Your mercy,
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	O most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
إِلٰهِي وَمَوْلايَ وَسَيِّدِي	My God, Lord, and Master,
وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ	many a servant [of You] is in eves and morns
قَدِ ٱسْتَمَرَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَضَاءُ	permanently suffering under the vicissitudes of time,
وَاحْدَقَ بِهِ ٱلْبَلاءُ	surrounded by hardships,
وَفَارَقَ اوِدَّاءَهُ وَاحِبَّاءَهُ وَاخِلاَّءَهُ	departing his dear, beloved, and intimate friends,
وَامْسَىٰ اسِيراً حَقِيراً ذَليِلاً	receiving the evenings while he is imprisoned, humiliated, and lowly,
فِي ايدِي ٱلْكُفَّارِ وَٱلاعْدَاءِ	in the hands of the unbelievers and the enemies
يَتَدَاوَلُونَهُ يَمِيناً وَشِمَالاً	who dominate him from the right and the left;
قَدْ حُصِرَ فِي ٱلْمَطَامِيرِ	he has been locked up in cellars
وَثُقِّلَ بِٱلْحَدِيدِ	and overloaded with iron (shackles);
لاَ يَرَىٰ شَيْئاً مِنْ ضِيَاءِ ٱلدُّنيَا	he cannot see any of the light of the world
وَلاَ مِنْ رَوْحِهَا	nor any of its rest;
يَنظُرُ إِلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ حَسْرَةً	he looks at himself with grief
لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُ لَهَا ضَرّاًوَ لاَ نَفْعاً	because he cannot make any harm or benefit to himself;
وَانَا خِلْوٌ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهِ	but I am free from all that
بِجُودِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ	on account of Your magnanimity and generosity.

وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces;
وَٱرْحَمْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ	and have mercy upon me, by Your mercy,
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	O most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
إِلٰهِي وَمَوْلايَ وَسَيِّدِي	My God, Lord, and Master;
وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ	many a servant [of You] in eves and morns
وَقَدِ ٱشْتَاقَ إِلَىٰ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِٱلرَّغْبَةِ فِيهَا	has desirously longed for the worldly pleasures
إِلَىٰ انْ خَاطَرَ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَاِلهِ	that he risked himself and his property
حِرْصاً مِنْهُ عَلَيْهَا	out of his greediness of them (i.e. these pleasures).
قَدْ رَكِبَ ٱلْفُلْكَ وَكُسِرَتْ بِهِ	He thus embarked on a ship, which was then broken;
وَهُوَ فِي آفَاقِ ٱلْبِحَارِ وَظُلَمِهَا	so, he is in the horizons and murk of oceans;
يَنظُرُ إِلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ حَسْرَةً	he looks at himself with grief
لاَ يَقْدِرُ لَهَا عَلَىٰ ضَرٍّ وَلاَ نَفْعٍ	because he cannot make any harm or benefit to himself;
وَانَا خِلْوٌ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ  كُلِّهِ	but I am free from all that
بِجُودِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ	on account of Your magnanimity and generosity.
فَلاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ سُبْحانَكَ	So, there is no god save You. All glory be to You;

وَلِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	those who are thankful for Your bounties,
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces;
وَٱرْحَمْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ	and have mercy upon me, by Your mercy,
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	O most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
إِلٰهِي وَمَوْلايَ وسَيِّدِي	My God, Lord, and Master,
وَكَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ امْسَىٰ وَاصْبَحَ	many a servant [of You] is in eves and morns
قَدِ ٱسْتَمَرَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَضَاءُ	permanently suffering under the vicissitudes of time
وَاحْدَقَ بِهِ ٱلْبَلاَءُ	and is surrounded by hardships,
وَٱلْكُفَّارُ وَٱلاعْدَاءُ	unbelievers, and enemies;
وَاخَذَتْهُ ٱلرِّمَاحُ وَٱلسُّيُوفُ وَٱلسِّهَامُ	and is taken up by spears, swords, and arrows;
وَجُدِّلَ صَرِيعاً	and he was then knocked down and thrown to the ground.
وَقَدْ شَرِبَتِ ٱلارْضُ مِنْ دَمِهِ	The soil swallowed his blood
وَاكَلَتِ ٱلسِّبَاعُ وَٱلطَّيْرُ مِنْ لَحْمِهِ	and beasts and birds munched his flesh.
وَانَا خِلْوٌ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ  كُلِّهِ	But I am free from all that
بِجُودِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ	on account of Your magnanimity and generosity
لاَ بِٱسْتِحْقَاقٍ منِي	although I do not deserve it.
يَا لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ سُبْحانَكَ	O He save Whom there is no god. All glory be to You;
مِنْ مُقْتَدِرٍ لاَ يُغْلَبُ	You are invulnerably Omnipotent
وَذِي انَاةٍ لاَ يَعْجَلُ	and prudently Forbearing.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces;
وَٱرْحَمْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ	and have mercy upon me, by Your mercy,
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	O most Merciful of all those who show mercy;
وَعِزَّتِكَ يَا كَرِيمُ	and by Your might; O All-generous.
َلاطْلُبَنَّ مِمَّا لَديْكَ	I will insistently ask for that which is with You,
وََلالِحَّنَّ عَلَيْكَ	persist on You,
وََلامُدَّنَّ يَدِيَ نَحْوَكَ	and extend my hand towards You,
مَعَ جُرْمِهَا إِلَيْكَ	although it has committed offenses against You.
يَا رَبِّ فَبِمَنْ اعُوذُ	O my Lord, whose protection should I seek
وَبِمَنْ الُوذُ	and whose refuge should I take?
لاَ احَدَ لِي إِلاَّ انتَ	None can stand for me save You.
افَتَرُدَّنِي وَانتَ مُعَوَّلِي	Will You reject me while You are my one and only confidence
وَعَلَيْكَ مُتَّكَلِي	and upon You alone do I rely?
اسْالُكَ بِٱسْمِكَ ٱلَّذِي وَضَعْتَهُ عَلىٰ ٱلسَّمَاءِ فَٱسْتَقَلَّتْ	I thus beseech You in the name of Your Name that when You put it on the heavens, they raised,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلارْضِ فَٱسْتَقَرَّتْ	when You put it on the earth, it settled down,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلْجِبَاِل فَرَسَتْ	when You put it on the mountains, they became firm,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱللَّيْلِ فَاظْلَمَ	when You put it on the night, it darkled,
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلنَّهَارِ فَٱسْتَنَارَ	and when You put it on the daylight, it lit up,
ان تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	[I beseech You] to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَان تَقْضِيَ لِي حَوَائِجِي كُلَّهَا	satisfy all my wants,
وَتَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي كُلَّهَا	forgive all my sins,
صَغِيرَهَا وَكَبِيرَهَا	the trivial and the significant,
وَتُوَسِّعَ عَلَيَّ مِنَ ٱلرِّزْقِ	and expand my sustenance
مَا تُبَلِّغُنِي بِهِ شَرَفَ ٱلدُّنيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ	to the scope that I can attain the honor of this world and the Hereafter.
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
مَوْلايَ بِكَ ٱسْتَعَنتُ	My Master, Your help do I seek;
فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاعنِي	so, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and help me!
وَبِكَ ٱسْتَجَرْتُ فَاجِرْنِي	Your protection do I seek; so, (please) protect me.
وَاغْننِي بِطَاعَتِكَ عَنْ طَاعَةِ عِبَادِكَ	Through my obedience to You, (please) suffice me from obedience to Your servants.
وَبِمَسْالَتِكَ عَنْ مَسْالَةِ خَلْقِكَ	Through my entreaty to You; (please) suffice me from beseeching Your creatures.
وَٱنقُلْنِي مِنْ ذُلِّ ٱلْفَقْرِ إِلَىٰ عِزِّ ٱلْغِنَىٰ	Transfer me from the humiliation of poverty to the honor of richness
وَمِن ذُلِّ ٱلْمَعَاصِي إِلَىٰ عِزِّ ٱلطَّاعَةِ	and from the humiliation of acts of disobedience to You to the honor of obedience to You.
فَقَدْ فَضَّلْتَنِي عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ	You have really given me preference over many of Your creatures
جُوداً مِنكَ وَكَرَماً	out of Your magnanimity and generosity,
لاَ بِٱسْتِحْقَاقٍ منِي	although I do not deserve it.
إِلٰهِي فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ ذَلَك كُلِّهِ	My God, all praise be to You for all that.
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	(Please) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱجْعَلْنِي لِنَعْمَائِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاكِرِينَ	and include me with those who are thankful for Your bounties
وَلآِلاَئِكَ مِنَ ٱلذَّاكِرِينَ	and those who permanently mention Your graces.

Anda harus sujud dan katakan yang berikut:

سَجَدَ وَجْهِي الذَّلِيلُ`	My lowly face is humbly prostrating
لِوَجْهِكَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْجَلِيلِ	before Your All-majestic and Almighty Face.
سَجَدَ وَجْهِيَ ٱلْبَاِلي ٱلْفَانِي	My rotten, mortal face is prostrating
لِوَجْهِكَ ٱلدَّائِمِ ٱلْبَاقِي	before Your Everlasting, Eternal Face.
سَجَدَ وَجْهِيَ ٱلْفَقِيرُ	My poor face is prostrating
لِوَجْهِكَ ٱلْغَنِيِّ ٱلْكَبِيرِ	before Your All-dependent and All-great Face.
سَجَدَ وَجْهِي وَسَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي	Prostrating are my face, my hearing, my sight,
وَلَحْمِي وَدَمِي وَجِلْدِي	my flesh, my blood, my skin,
وَعَظْمِي وَمَا اقَلَّتِ ٱلارْضُ منِي	my bones, and whatever part of me that is carried by the earth
لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ	before Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
اللَّهُمَّ عُدْ عَلَىٰ جَهْلِي بِحِلْمِكَ	O Allah, return upon my ignorance with Your indulgence,
وَعَلَىٰ فَقْرِي بِغِنَاكَ	upon my neediness with Your self-sufficiency,
وَعَلَىٰ ذُلِّي بِعِزِّكَ وَسُلْطَانِكَ	upon my humiliation with Your Almightiness and Authority,
وَعَلَىٰ ضَعْفِي بِقُوَّتِكَ	upon my powerlessness with Your omnipotence,
وَعَلَىٰ خَوْفِي بِامْنِكَ	upon my fearfulness with Your security,
وَعَلَىٰ ذُنُوبِي وَخَطَايَايَ بِعَفْوِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ	and upon my sins and offenses with Your pardon and mercy.
يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيمُ	O All-beneficent! O All-merciful!
اللَّهُمَّ إنِي ادْرَا بِكَ فِي نَحْرِ…	O Allah, I seek You to protect me against…

Sekarang, saudara boleh menyebut nama musuh saudara.

وَاعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ	I seek Your protection against his evils;
فَٱكْفنِيهِ بِمَا كَفَيْتَ بِهِ انْبِيَاءَكَ	so, (please) save me from him just as You have saved Your Prophets,
وَاوْلِيَاءَكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ	Your intimate servants among Your creatures,
وَصَاِلحِ عِبَادِكَ	and Your righteous servants
مِن فَرَاعِنَةِ خَلْقِكَ	against the tyrants amongst Your creatures,
وَطُغَاةِ عُدَاتِكَ	and the oppressors amongst Your enemies
وَشَرِّ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ	and against the evil of all Your creatures.
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	[I ask You] in the name of Your mercy; O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ	Verily, You have power over all things.
وَحَسْبُنَا ٱللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ ٱلْوَكِيلُ	Sufficient unto us is Allah; He is the best protector.
